Moreland Township in Montgomery County, but eventually settled in
Sussex County, New Jersey. Thomas was a millwright by trade and
served in the Provincial Assembly just prior to his death in

(William) Potts was working in the clock shop of Benjamin Rittenhouse in Worcester Township, Montgomery County Pennsylvania...

In 1801 Potts married Rachel Hughes. Two years later the couple was living in Alexandria Township, Hunterdon Count7y, New Jersey. Then in 1807, Potts purchased land and moved to Nockamixon Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
William Lukens Potts died in 17 January 1854 at 82 years of age. He is buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
