On 2, 30m1732 the Montrath Meeting records indicate that Mary has joined the church "two years ago" and she and her husband are "going to Pennsylvania." Peter and Mary Ashton removed from Chester to Concord, Chester County, and soon after to Springfield, where they took up a tract of 207 acres on Cook's Creek about 1741, for which a Proprietaries' Patent was granted in 1745.
