WILMER F. YODER

 WILMER F. YODER, 94, of Quakertown, previously of Homer, Alaska and Mt. Carmel, died July 4, 2003 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital.

He was the husband of the late MARY (CAMP) YODER.

Born in Northumberland County, he was the son of the late MONROE and POLLY (FERTIG) YODER.

He was a postal carrier for the United States Postal Service in Mt. Carmel for 32 years, before retiring in 1964.

Surviving is a step son, ELWOOD DERR of Levittown; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by as son, PAUL YODER.

Graveside services were held at the convenience of the family.

Ruth C. Yoder

Ruth C. LEATHERMAN YODER, 89, of Souderton Mennonite Homes, formerly of Bechtelsville and Telford, died Friday, September 1, 2000 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville.

She was the widow of the late Norman G. Yoder, who died in 1998. She also was the widow of the late Pastor Daniel D. Leatherman, who died in 1955.

Born in Hatfield Towsnhsip, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Lydia (Cressman ) Bolton. Mrs. Yoder had been employed about eight years in the linens department of North Penn Hospital., Lansdale before working for nine years in the shipping department of Young's Casters of Souderton, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of Lansdale Mennonite Church, and a former Sunday School and vacation Bible School teacher.

She was preceded in deaths by six brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held this mrning (Wednesday) at Plains Mennonite Church, Hatfield, Interment is in the adjoining church cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be made to Lansdale Mennonite Church, York and Cannon Avenues, Lansdale, PA 19446; or the charity of the donor's choice.

J. Walter YODER

Born in Hilltown Township, he was the son of the late William D. and Annie A. (Detweiler) Yoder.

He was a member of Blooming Glen Mennonite Church since 1926, where he was a former Sunday School superintendent and teacher.
