J. Leon Wells

Funeral services were held Tuesday for J. Leon Wells, 80, of 317 N. Bellevue Avenue., Langhorne, who died Dec. 15 at his home after a prolonged illness.

Born in Langhorne, the son of the late Gilbert r. and Hattie Muncy Wells he was a retired bricklayer. He was a charter member of the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club, a member of Langhorne Methodist Church and the oldest living member of the Langhorne - Middletown Fire Company.

surviving are his wife Mrs. Fredda Flack Wells; a son, Ralph C., and a daughter, Mrs. John Scheetz, both of langhorne; two brothers, Harold of Langhorne and Leroy of Tampa, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the William W. Dunn Funeral Home, Langhorne. Rev. Carl. R. Hammerly, pastor of Langhorne Methodist church officiated. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, Somerton.
