Bucks County Herald February 27, 2003 CLAIRE M. GLASCOTT CLAIRE M. GLASCOTT of Buckingham Township died February 23 in Doylestown Hospital. She was 65. She was the wife of PETER A. GLASCOTT. Born in Philadelphia, she had been a resident of the Doylestown area for 43 years. Mrs. Glascott was a graduate of Gwynedd-Mercy College. A very active member of the community, she served as a board member for Bucks County Historical Society and was formerly on the board at Doylestown Country Club. She also was a longtime member of the Village Improvement Association and served on the board and on various committees at Doylestown Hospital. She was an avid golfer and a member of the ladies golf team at Doylestown Country Club. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. February 27 and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. February 28 at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton Road at Kellers Church Road, Plumsteadville, followed by her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on February 28 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State St., Doylestown. Interment will be in Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Doylestown Hospital Cancer Program, 595 W. State St., Doylestown, 18901 or Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at the above address. |
