HANNAH G. SOWDEN
HANNAH G. (KEMLER) SOWDEN of Warminster
passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at Abington Memorial
Hospital. She was 78.
She was the beloved wife of the late
WILLIAM G. SOWDEN.
Born in Moosic, Pa., she was the daughter
of the late WILLIAM and JESSIE SHOTWELL KEMLER.
Mrs. Sowden was employed as a nurse's aide.
She was the loving mother of ELAINE SOWDEN
of Warminster, SANDRA (VINCENT) DOUGLASS of Mineral, Va.,
WILLIAM SOWDEN of California and GEORGE SOWDEN of Bristol. She
also is survived by nine grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and her sisters, BEVERLY GRIFFIN and ELLA
NOVJESKI, both of Avoca, Pa., and DAISY BROWN of Moosic; and a
sister-in-law, HARRIET KEMLER of Roslyn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend
her funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in Decker
Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, where friends will be
received after 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment
will be held in Rosedale Memorial Park, Trevose.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike, A-100,
Conshohocken, PA 19428-1190.
