KATHLEEN M. MOSER 

KATHLEEN M. (KRIKORY) MOSER of Amherst, Mass. died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township following a seven-week stay. She was 58.

Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late FREDERICK W. and KATHERINE (FLUCK) KRIKORY SR. and the stepdaughter of MARGARET A. (WILSON) KRIKORY BROCKMANN and HAL BROCKMANN of Franconia Township.

Kathleen graduated from Pennridge High School in 1963 and Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa. in 1967, where she majored in voice and music education. She began her teaching career in Suitland, Md. She retired in June 2003 from Frontier Regional Schools in South Deerfield, Mass., where she taught middle and high school music for 33 years. She led her students to participate in district, all-state, and all-eastern chorus competitions regularly. She served as department chairman, Frontier Teachers Association union president and in various positions within the Massachusetts Music Educators Association.

In addition to her teaching career, Kathleen was a member of the Valley Light Opera Company, appearing in more than 40 productions, mostly in the Gilbert and Sullivan Company. In addition to singing solos and being part of the chorus, Kathleen served in a variety of roles, running the gamut from backstage duties to the assistant music directorship for nine productions. Her particular interest was the VLO's educational outreach program.

Surviving with her parents are a brother, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 107 W. Lincoln Ave., Telford, where friends may call from 10:30 until service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960 or to the American Cancer Society, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 201, Chalfont, PA 18914.
