WAYNE C. ERNEY SR.

WAYNE C. ERNEY SR., a resident of Warminster since 1954, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at his residence. He was 57.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, CAROL MARIE EVANSON ERNEY.

Born in Mt. Carmel, Pa., Wayne was a tool and die maker and a longtime employee of Kulicke & Soffe Industries in Willow Grove.

Wayne was a member of B.C.R.C. and enjoyed flying model planes. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

He was the devoted father of LISA SHEMPP of Warminster, WAYNE C. ERNEY JR. of Blaisedale, N.Y. and ELAINE BARANOWSKI of Warminster. He is also survived by two brothers, CRAIG ERNEY of Willow Grove and JAMES ERNEY of Pipersville; two sisters, DEBORAH ERNEY of Leonard, Md. and CAROL VADALA of Glenville, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, THERESA PEFFER and three grandchildren.

Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer Mass cards.
