| The original church stood on the hill near the abandoned cemetery. |
| It was built of logs, probably in 1747, the "Brick" church, the third structure at that place |
| erected by the Lutheran and Reformed congregations, was destroyed by fire. The |
| denominations then separated, the Lutherans building a new church and the Reformed |
| congregation rebuilding and occupying the Brick Church. The present (1923) date stone as |
| "Lower Tinicum Reformed Church-rebuilt A. D. 1908." |
